The Double Earthquake in Turkey

Days after the double earthquake in Turkey, thousands of families huddle in the freezing cold praying they may hear news about a family member who has survived. The most vulnerable in this catastrophic emergency are the children. Many have lost parents, or whole families being and are being cared for by those who have also experienced an unimaginable loss.   In Syria, the situation remains equally desperate. With our partners on the ground, International Blue Crescent, KinderUSA is preparing to set up hot food kitchens in the north of Syria on the border with Turkey. In addition, KinderUSA will be distributing much needed baby formula and hygiene kits to families who are sheltered across the area in their cars, tents, and safe structures. Our partners are doing all they can to reach the most vulnerable though they themselves have been personally affected as members of the community conducting relief efforts prior to the dual quake.  We are working together in assessing further needs, but for now, hot food and baby formula are high on the priority list. Please join us in this effort by making an immediate donation to ensure children get the support they need. $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford. We will keep you updated as our distribution continues.
