Assalaamu alaikum (Peace be unto you),

During these past three months, KinderUSA has come to learn just how fortunate it is to have such highly committed donors.  Many of you have continued to display an immense amount of support and for that we express our sincere appreciation.
  
 
The board of KinderUSA convened on the weekend of 15 April 2005 in Los Angeles   California to conclude the period of evaluation and review that was initiated in December 2004.
 
With the help and support of professionals in law and NGO strategic planning, KinderUSA reviewed its mission, history, programs, and finances.  We examined our board, staff, support base, and partnerships.  We assessed the climate and political trends in the United States and abroad.
  
Having engaged in a thorough and careful review of our organization and the challenges we face, the Board of Directors of KinderUSA confidently decided to resume its program of fundraising and humanitarian relief.
  
 
Despite the significant obstacles faced by Muslim charities, the Board renewed its commitment to responding to the urgent needs of children in areas of conflict through its unique, innovative, and effective programs of relief.
 
We are proud to have made the decision to embrace the human rights of Palestinian children as our core agenda working towards providing them with the best possible start in life through good health, nutrition, education, and an environment they need to grow, develop, and learn. KinderUSA believes that by investing our energies and resourcefulness in children, we are protecting young bodies and minds that house enormous human potential. 
  
 
There is much more to be done, and you should be very proud of what you have accomplished these past three years with your willingness to keep pushing ahead for the children in Palestine. By investing in children and the families that sustain them, we are serving the best interests of all humanity.
 
Together we can ensure that KinderUSA continues to work towards these noble goals.  Thank you.
